OVERNIGHT OATS WITH OAT MILK

๐ฅฃ Overnight Oats Recipe:
- ๐พ 1 cup oats
- ๐ฐ 1/2 cup sprouted buckwheat or kasha
- ๐ฑ 1/4 cup chia seeds
- ๐ฟ 2 tablespoons hemp seeds
- ๐ฐ 2 tablespoons ground flax seeds
- ๐ 1 cup berriesย or dried fruit
- ๐ฅ 1.5 to 2 cups plant-based milk
- ๐ 1 tablespoon maple syrup (optional)
Instructions:
- Combine all the dry ingredients in a bowl, mix well.
- Add the plant-based milk of choice to cover the ingredients.
- Stir and cover. Store overnight (or at least for 3 hours) in the fridge and eat fresh in the morning. ย Add fresh fruit as desired.
You can mix it up with different fresh, frozen or dried fruit (e.g. cranberries, apricots, raisons, dates) and/or other ingredients like cinnamon, cardamon, chocolate chips (vegan), nuts or nut butter. There are lots of options!

Ingredients:
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 4 cups COLD water
- Optional sweeteners/flavorings: 1-2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Rinse the Oats: Rinse the rolled oats under cold water to remove excess starch.
- Blend Oats and Water:
- In a blender, combine the rinsed oats and water.
- If you're adding sweeteners or flavorings, include them at this stage.
- Blend Until Smooth:
- Blend on high speed for about 30 seconds to 1 minute until the mixture is well combined.
- Strain the Mixture:
- Using a nut milk bag, fine mesh sieve, or cheesecloth, strain the oat mixture into a large bowl or pitcher.
- Squeeze or press to extract as much liquid as possible. The remaining pulp can be used in baking or composted.
- Store and Refrigerate:
- Transfer the strained oat milk into a clean bottle or jar.
- Shake well before each use, as oat milk tends to settle.
- Enjoy:
- Use your homemade oat milk in coffee, tea, cereal, or any recipe that calls for milk.
