Divine Decadence: DIY Chocolate
Ingredients:
½ cup + 2 tbsp raw cacao powder
½ cup raw cacao butter
pinch of vanilla powder or ½ tsp vanilla extract
3 tbsp maple syrup
1 tbsp coconut oil
8 drops peppermint essential oil
½ tbsp maca powder (optional)

Instructions:
Melt the cacao butter and the coconut oil on the lowest temperature in the dehydrator at 110 degrees F or lowest temperature on stove if you do not have a dehydrator. Once melted completely, whisk along with the above ingredients in a glass bowl with pouring spout until a well-mixed thin paste forms. Pour paste into chocolate molds or an ice cube tray and refrigerate until hard. Pop them out and enjoy with a big smile at room temperature and try to share with others.
PRO TIP:
Omit the peppermint essential oil and you will have a neutral chocolate recipe. Anytime you make this recipe, you can add different essential oils, spices, nuts or dried fruit to create new flavours!
